Hi, my name is Jennifer Downing.

It is a pleasure and an honor to be joining the BSAP board and to introduce myself.

I currently live in Helena with my youngest daughter and fiancé. My oldest daughter lives in Great Falls, the same city I graduated High School from. From Great Falls I have lived in several locations, always trying to fill my need for adventure. My favorite location was a summer living in a campground, hiking/exploring Glacier Park. I had the honor of working as the Journal Clerk during the 2017 Montana Legislature where I became hopeful and educated about the process of making real change. I have also owned and operated a Daycare Center.  

For seven years I worked with, loved and learned from several special needs children. I consider my experiences with special needs, whether it be Autism or Downs Syndrome children, to be some of the most formidable and cherished times of my life.

I am passionate about physical ‘fitness’ or the mind-body-spirit connection, and I believe we pave our paths of well-being within that connection and can help others do the same.

My hobbies include hiking, yoga, travel, exploring the physical/emotional effects of design and a small fascination with insects. I am employed as an HR Generalist with the MT DNRC.
